iphones connected to libraries. New iphone library site help customers searching for books, journals, as well as quick access to different RSS feeds from their blogs and flicker page. Using Apple iphones through their Safari browser. All this at Lib.uah.edu/mobile.

Other folks are doing their own 23 things. The Dewey Graduate Library is offering a seminar to explore web applications, such as Blogs, Wikis, RSS.

Now on to on-line image generator.

I have registered with Bloglines- now I have 7 RSS feeds. BBC News, Cool Tools, NYTBR ... So I haven't explored all of them yet, but I will. Later.

Today I visited you tube again- this technology really fascinates me. I selected photography and found a website that teaches photography. diynetwork.com This is cool! So, that's my interest this week. Now on to thing # 8

Today I carved out a bit of time to continue learning 23 things. So I listened to a few podcasts ( AOT live) Authors on Tour- Author Nick Bantock read and discussed his book Windflower. I loved his British accent. I also listened to NPR. I still may just try to download software to my cell phone so I can listen to AOT and NPR while I do my walks. Speaking of walks...

Active for Life is presenting and event next Tuesday at Glenwood branch library. Be there at 12:45pm or 1:00pm for Suzan Lumpkin who will help us when she presents "Find Your Reason to Become or Stay Fit ". Bring your lunch and join us for fun and fitness tips. You may be the grand prize winner- we will have several door prizes.

Gee! I went to Flicker for the first time last week. I love flickr, So...many photos. I could spend a great deal of time there so I had to get out quickly. I like the fact that you learn of great locations for photographing and that they critique the photos, to help amateur photographers improve.

Active for Life- I will be walking around Centenial Park tomorrow- Wednesday the 17th. Care to join me? It is a lovely walk. Let me know. Shine only, if it looks like rain I won't even consider it.

Here goes...23 things now underway for me. I promise to complete 23 things on...
Your guess is as good as mine. Blogs, Flicker, RSS, online image generator, Library Thing...all that and more. But, Active for life is the best... So when we are 99 years old we are still flickering. Join us for Active for Life starting October ( kickoff date is really September 27 at noon, ECO meeting room) through January 8, 2008.
